Site 10 decision delayed - congratulations to Celia

Good news today when Wellington City Council's Strategy and Policy Committee decided to delay making a decision on whether a building should be constructed on site 10 on the watefront. The decision will be delayed until after the Environment Court makes its ruling on Variation 11. At this stage, we don't know when this will be. Thanks to Mayor Wade-Brown for working for this amendment. Making a decision on whether to build on the waterfront before the Court decided what rules buildings can be constructed under would have been seen as a cynical move by the public.
