Even when pregnant, women are criticised for what they wear

The article focuses on the fact that the pregnant Duchess of Cambridge is refusing to wear maternity wear. Serious journalism it is not.

Furthermore, why is the Duchess criticised for not wearing maternity clothing and a 38 pound dress from Topshop to a society wedding?

There is so much wrong with this article. Why the focus on a woman's wardrobe? Would there be the same focus on a man? Why too should a woman wear maternity clothing? Not necessarily much need until the very last weeks and a depressing focus still on clothing rather than achievement? Most women can do more than simply be a clothes horse.

The newspaper needs to do a better job reporting on serious news and refusing to uncritically repeat news from overseas.
