Disappointing that the Hutt City Council decided to increase its contribution to the Regional Amenity Fund by 5%.
We need to show that we can co-operate regionally so this decision by the Hutt is a bit of a blow. There was a plan to double contributions to help services like the wonderful Free Ambulance and organisations like Te Papa to grow.
