Given that The Dominion Post has been such a cheerleader for the flyover, it is curious to know now that they are raising concerns around the Basin Reserve losing its test status. This has long been pointed out by critics.
Good on Martin Sneddon for raising the issue. It is a real concern. The editorial also misses the point that the exterior of the Basin also needs to be preserved.
