The Dominion Post reports today that the NZTA will be releasing only two options for consultation relieving supposed traffic congestion at the Basin Reserve and they are both flyovers.
It is no surprise that an agency and government mired in 1960s thinking would come up with such limited options.
A real process would have looked at all options including moderate roading improvements.
Consultation is scheduled to start in July. I hope people will take their chance to have a say.
