News today that a third organisation has been accused of abuse of a person with a disability in a matter of only a couple of weeks makes me question what sort of country we living in?
It is totally unacceptable that anyone should be abused in the way described in the attached article. We still have such a long way to go. At Council we have made a commitment to try and make sure the city is fully accessible after a long struggle. We are making progress but it will take some time for this work to really bear fruit.
