The engineering profession is under pressure again after Sunday's quake. I do worry about how we are going to cope over the next 15 years or so with so much working needing to be done around the country in terms of earthquake strengthening.
A question that the profession, universities and country needs to address. This strengthening work needs to be escalated but obviously can only be done if skilled staff are available to do it.
