As Christchurch City Council has its authority to issue building consents revoked, I hope it will be of some comfort to Wellington City residents that WCC is accredited to issue consents.
This highlights the need for Councils to be very robust in the way that it issues consents. After the leaky homes scandal, this point should not need to be made.
