Nearly 600 pages of reading for the CCO Monitoring Committee that I am on today. But pretty good news, most are in good health which is a credit somewhat to their boards and staff.
But a few issues to come up: is the stadium delivering, a question I will be asking today after all the negative publicity, plans for the replacement children's playground at Capital E, how's that going? The Basin Reserve needs a lot of work, the flyover and the possible demolition of the Old Stand are issues of concern. Positively Wellington Venues said that they were having some difficulties last meeting, will need to find out whether this is still the case. Visitor numbers are down at Zealandia so progress on the Strategic Plan is a must. And on it goes.
Will be a busy afternoon.
