I appreciate that the closure of Thistle Hall will be disruptive for some but a good news story. The city is getting on with earthquake strengthening and am particuarly pleased that this building will be preserved for future generations.
We will soon be announcing more earthquake strengthening work, a paper will be debated at next week's Annual Plan debate.
