In light of publicity around how long councillors have been at the Council table, maybe it is time to discuss term limits.
I agree with The DomPost's editorial that praises Cr Ian McKinnon for standing down after three terms, they are right, it is a good example. Some people have been there a long time. Ian has done a good job but he realises correctly that there is a need for fresh blood.
As someone who has been there for 6 years, I don't intend to be here for 15!
